The key to good artwork on a finished product is having good artwork as a base to work with. Images that have been copied from a website are usually very small resolution, which is sometimes ok for producing a digitised embroidery file, but no good for reproducing quality artwork when printed. As a general rule, try zooming into an image or make it larger. If it appears pixelated, it won't look good on the finished garment.

The larger the file size, the better the finished item. Ideally, a file size of 500kb is a minimum requirement. However, dependent on size of printed image, the file size requirement may be larger than this.

Brand Guidelines/Standards
If you have a set of brand guidelines for your business, please let us have a copy as they will usually outline everything we need to know about how to represent your brand.

Please advise of specific colours for your brand. Colours are best represented as a pantone reference.

The D3 pantone reference is 300.

If your logo has a font or typeface, please send a fixed file type as recommended below such as AI or EPS. 
If you cannot provide an AI or EPS file for your logo, we would require the font for your logo to convert it correctly for printing. There may be a small artwork fee for converting the file.

Artwork Approval
Once artwork has been submitted, either online or by email, we will provide an artwork proof which must be checked and approved prior to production.
Any delays to artwork approval or amends may delay the production of your garments.

For a small fee (£25), we convert your image file to a digitised stitch file (.emb or .dst format).

Screen Print



Vector, AI & EPS and unlocked PDF files

Screens for screen printing are set up for £20 per colour, which makes screen printing ideal for one or two colour volume prints, due to the higher set up costs of printing.
